Applications and Faction Access

The STS website connects faction recruitment and whitelisting to your Steam-linked player record.

Police applications

Open the Player Portal and select Police Application. Complete every question with enough detail for Police Command to assess your roleplay experience, motivation, scenario response and availability.

You may only have one active Police application. Its status can be Submitted, Reviewing, Accepted or Rejected. An accepted application does not automatically change your in-game rank; Police Command completes whitelisting separately.

APD Command

Sergeant and above can review Police applications. Rank assignment limits depend on the command member's own police rank, and every change is audit-logged.

AMS Command

No whitelist required, roles and equipment is unlocked by faction play time.

After a whitelist change

If your faction rank changes while you are already connected, reconnect to the server if the new access does not appear immediately. Check the Player Portal to confirm that the database shows the expected faction level.
