Major Crimes and Specialist Tools

Major vault crimes are coordinated events involving specialist equipment, online-faction requirements and server-specific roleplay rules.

Specialist tools

• Boltcutter — used on supported locked structures and objectives
• Hacking Device — used for supported vault or gate hacking stages
• Drill — used to penetrate supported vaults
• Lockpick — used for applicable vehicle and lock interactions

These tools are sold through the Rebel Market. Basic Rebel access is required for ordinary civilians to use that market.

Configured major targets

• HM Treasury — uses a Hacking Device at its vault stage
• APC Evidence Locker — uses a Hacking Device at its vault stage
• Bank of Altis - uses a Hacking Device to unlock the vault

Before starting

• Read the current major-crime and initiation rules.
• Confirm the required number of responding faction members are online.
• Bring the correct tool for every stage.
• Organize transport and enough storage for the reward.
• Plan for alarms, map markers and faction response.
• Do not begin an objective if a required faction is disabled or the event cannot be completed normally.
