Capturable Rebel Hideouts
How to capture a hideout and which services ownership unlocks.
Capturable Rebel Hideouts
The two capturable Rebel Hideouts are separate from normal Rebel Outposts. At a normal outpost, the licence store is available directly. At a capturable hideout, the shops remain locked until your group controls its flag.
Before capturing
- Play as a civilian.
- Join or create a group.
- Locate the Capture Hideout interaction on the flag.
- Read the current capture and initiation rules.
- Clear the immediate flag area and prepare to remain close to it.
Capture process
- Use Capture Hideout on the flag.
- If another group owns it, confirm that you want to take over their area.
- Only one player can operate the flag capture at a time.
- Remain within five meters of the flag throughout the progress action.
- Moving too far away cancels the attempt.
- Taking a hideout from an existing owner progresses more slowly than capturing an unowned hideout.
The capture action uses a 180-second base duration. The mission then applies a slower progress rate when another group already owns the location.
Ownership benefits
The controlling group gains access at that hideout to:
- Rebel Market
- Rebel Clothing Shop
- Rebel Equipment Shop
- Cashpoint
- Rebel vehicle dealership
- Car and air garages
- Car and air vehicle storage
Required licenses
- Rebel License — $250,000
Owning the hideout unlocks its interactions, but it does not replace the appropriate Rebel license for equipment, clothing or vehicles.
If the shops do not appear
- Confirm your group owns the correct hideout flag.
- Confirm you are still in the same civilian group.
- Check that you own Basic Rebel or Advanced Rebel as required.
- Make sure you are using the stores belonging to the captured hideout, not the other hideout.
- Reconnect if group data failed to refresh after a server-side change.
