Rotating Cartel Events

The rotating cartel is a temporary server-wide capture event. It selects one of twelve configured locations and announces its arrival to all players.

When it appears

  • The system waits 25 minutes between event cycles.
  • At least 40 civilians must be online before the event proceeds.
  • A ten-minute warning is announced.
  • A second warning is announced five minutes before the marker appears.
  • Once active, the event remains available for up to 25 minutes if nobody completes it.

Capture requirements

  • You must be part of a group.
  • You must be on foot.
  • You must have a weapon drawn.
  • You cannot capture while wearing admin or support-duty gear.
  • Only one eligible group can be present; another group pauses the capture as contested.

The capture radius is 75 metres.

Capture time

  • Fewer than 70 civilians online — approximately 11 minutes
  • At least 70 civilians online — approximately 14 minutes and 30 seconds

Capture progress increases only while one group controls the zone without another eligible group contesting it.

Rewards

On a successful civilian capture, eligible group members in the zone receive the event payout and Capturing profession progress. The normal configured payout range is £735,000 to £900,000. At low population, the mission applies a reduced payout cap of £525,000.

There is also a ten-percent chance that an airdrop will spawn at the captured location. If this happens, the entire server receives an announcement and the location remains marked while the airdrop runs.

After completion

The event announces the successful capture, waits briefly, removes the temporary zone and begins the next event cycle. If the timer expires, it waits until the area is clear before removing the zone.
